We continue the Investor Meetup series with Pekka Simula, partner at Innovestor Life Science, coming to give a talk on October 1. Pekka will share latest insights from Innovestor and talk about the differences between biotech, medtech and healthtech from an investor’s viewpoint. The agenda will include:

• Overview of business models and differences in healthech – medtech – biotech
• Differences in capital needs
• Investors need an exit: challenges in medtech (faster time-to-market but still longer time-to-exit)
• If one challenge could be solved with either biotech, or medtech, or healthtech solutions – why would an investor prefer one over the others?
